Amazonite Tumble

Amazonite is a gemstone and a variety of microcline feldspar, characterized by its vibrant green to blue-green color. It is named after the Amazon River in South America, although it is not found in the Amazon rainforest. Amazonite is also known by other names such as "Amazon stone" or "Amazon jade."

The distinctive color of amazonite is attributed to the presence of small amounts of lead and water within its crystal structure. Its color can range from a pale, almost white green to a deep, intense blue-green hue. The stone often exhibits a mottled or streaked appearance, with varying shades of green blending together.
